2. Scope

This policy explains what personal data morning-design collects through morning-design.com, why, and what rights you have over it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian data protection law (Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended).

3. Data we collect

Contact form: The contact form on this site asks for your name, email address, phone number, business name, and message. This data is validated in your browser before submission, but at present it is not transmitted to or stored on any server. No enquiry sent through the form is received, read, or retained by us. If you want a guaranteed response, use the direct email or phone number on our Contact page instead.

Direct correspondence: If you email or call us directly, we process the personal data you share (typically your name, email address, phone number, and postal address, where relevant to a quote) to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the agreed service. We keep this correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the relationship and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and delete it afterward unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Analytics: With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site (pages visited, general location at country/region level, device type). Google Analytics does not run, and no analytics cookie is set, until you accept it through the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details, and we do not use this website to process payments.

4. Why we process your data (legal basis)

Responding to enquiries and preparing quotes: legitimate interest in running our business and, once a quote is accepted, performance of a contract.

Analytics: your explicit consent, given through the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

Accounting and tax records: legal obligation under Italian law.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Where you have consented to analytics, aggregated usage data is processed by Google Ireland Limited as our analytics provider, which may involve a transfer of data to servers outside the European Economic Area; Google's standard contractual clauses govern that transfer. We do not otherwise share personal data with third parties, except where required by law.

6. How long we keep data

Direct correspondence (email, phone notes) is kept for the duration of any resulting engagement plus the period required by Italian civil and tax law (generally up to ten years for accounting records), then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings, configured to the shortest period that remains useful to us.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent (for analytics) at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@morning-design.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.

8. Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we handle, including keeping direct correspondence in access-controlled email and file systems.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the most recent update; material changes will be reflected here.
